It has been a very eventful past week as we prepared for Hurricane Dorian here on Florida's Space Coast where I live. Because our home is in a mandatory evacuation zone, and Dorian had such an uncertain path, I did evacuate inland. And while the storm's shift to the east spared us the damage that we feared, I am heartbroken at the devastation in the Bahamas and am giving to the relief effort through a donation to the United Methodist Church's International Disaster Response known as UMCOR. Because Methodist Churches like the one I attend fund UMCOR's administrative expenses, 100% of donations go to helping in the field.

I hope to go home today and during this evacuation inland for the storm, I brought paper crafting projects as they provide a needed distraction. As I turn my focus to Christmas, Fall and Halloween, I am inspired by this beautiful 64-page seasonal catalog.
