Scrapbooking Makes Me Happy
January 18, 2015
In my last post I shared the first page we made in my Friday scrapbook club -- I'm back with page number 2, and again, they don't match so they can be used as the single pages at the beginning and end of our 12 by 12 albums.
It's a simple layout that packs a visual wow thanks to the contrasts. I plan to put photos on the paper rectangles -- on the bigger ones the photos will be flush left on one and flush right on the other so a section of the fun paper shows to the side of the pictures.
I love the focal point. It uses a new stamp set called Hello Life and chalk ink on Stampin' Up's new chalkboard paper (stamp on the side with the felted look). And then fun new pom-pom ribbon, washi tape, buttons and epoxy stickers that coordinate with our Itty Bitty Punch Pack.
The Crisp Cantaloupe card stock strip along the bottom was embossed with the new Happy Heart Textured Impressions Embossing Folder. I overlapped one row of hearts each time and embossed until the strip was almost full of hearts. Check the bottom of my post for links to the main products used in this page.
