It's 2015 CD Calendar Time!

UPDATE: For those looking for the most current year's calendars -- there are free templates available each year by mid-summer. Click here to view and then download newest calendar template versions.

Sorry to have been such a stranger from blogging. I have once again been a bit overwhelmed by the need to put family issues first and have been spending lots of time helping my mom get settled into assisted living. It's nice to be back online with an idea to share.

I have heard from several of you who wanted to get started on your 2015 CD Calendars. I love sharing the templates for these each year. I use a format that lets you download and print each month separately -- then do a little trimming and you will have two of each month so you can stamp two calendars (one to keep and one to give as a gift!).

First the templates -- then trimming how-tos and some links to sources for the calendar CD clear cases. There is a photo gallery in the left column with ideas on what to stamp on each month -- it's an old calendar but will still give you the idea for how to use these.

Here is how I handle the trimming after I print them on our great Stampin' Up Whisper White card stock. The goal is to trim off the right side so its margin is equal to the left margin. (final calendar sheet is approx. 4 & 3/4 inch wide, but that width can vary based on how wide the interior of your CD case is.) TIP: Make sure it fits inside your particular cases before you cut them all. Once you have cut the width, you then cut the card stock in half vertically and each calendar page is 5 & 1/2 inches tall. Again, adjust as needed based on your cases.

Here are a couple of sources for CD Calendar cases (with a special swing back lid that acts as an easel).

Beth Daniels who is a long time demonstrator who's part of our 321 Stamp team has done a beautiful job using these templates over the years. The image at the top of this post is her design for this year's June. Because I have just updated the templates and not stamped a new calendar the past couple of years, click here to see some of Beth's blog posts that show her great ideas.

Be sure to sign up for my emailed newsletter in the left column. I'm sharing a special series of project ideas right now -- and in next week's newsletter I'll be sharing ideas for the new Blendabilities alcohol markers that will be available July 1.

Enjoy these calendar templates and leave a comment if you have any questions.
