First -- so sorry for the absence. Like many of you out there in blog world I have the privelege of helping care for an aging parent. My mom lives a couple of hours north in St. Augustine and she's needed some extra help the past month, plus I had a week-long conference in California for my day job as the website manager at our local state college. Great time -- but it's now time to catch up.

I wanted to start by sharing the two pages from my January scrapbook club -- perfect for adding some Valentine's photos.

They feature the great On Film Framelits and coordinating Peachy Keen stamp set from the Occasions catalog. I also LOVE the word bubble "Love Ya" which is from the Just Sayin' stamp set and matching Word Bubble Framelits Dies. (You can buy these film and bubble framelits with their matching stamp sets as a "bundle" and save 15% on both). The row of hearts is from the Language of Love set and the little banner detail also features an image from that set and the great free banner set from the Sale-a-bration brochure.

Take a look at the detailed embossing on this little camera -- the framelit not only cuts out the shape but embosses it at the same time (TIP: I like to roll it through the Big Shot machine twice to maximize the embossed lines).

These were such fun pages -- and they will be even cuter once I add photos to the three small filmstrip frames and the larger Polaroid style "Instagram" frames. My 13-year-old daughter approves of these hip pages!
