Offset Gatefold Christmas Card
October 25, 2013
Love this easy to mass produce card that packs a wow factor.
The design is inspired by stampingschool.com where it was done up in other colors (and no tree). I just knew the pretty silver embossed tree from the holiday catalog set called Special Season would fit on this layout perfectly. The circle "latch" feature that holds it closed is a 1 3/4" punched circle of silver glimmer paper and then the greeting from Tags 4 You (punched out with the matching Label Bracket Punch).
The cool thing is that our current Christmas Paper Stacks make this quick. Each 4 1/2" by 6 1/2" sheet in the stack will make two cards. You cut it into (two) 2 3/4" by 4 1/2" pices and then you have (two) 1/2" strips leftover to dress up the inside.
Here's the Winter Frost stack of 48 sheets in four designs that I used (it's 24 sheets of two, double-sided designs). Click here to see this one in my store.
And here's the Season of Style stack that my friend Linda at stampingschool.com had used. And you can see this one in my store as well.
