A Wedding Favor Idea
July 24, 2009
More on the new Stampin' Up exclusive Fancy Favor Box die for the Big Shot die cutting machine -- this time the focus is on wedding favors. You can see intro information about the Favor Box if you scroll down to the post right before this one with the Christmas versions. For these sweet wedding ones, I used the new Stampin' Up Bride and Groom card stocks, which are foiled for a beautiful, elegant look. There are three individual colors of the card stock, each with two, single-side designs in the package (5 sheets of each for 10 total) — a stripe, which you can see on the black box and a pretty brocade that's on the white box. The Bride card stock is white (item #115669); Groom is black (item #116478): and Bridesmaid is Vanilla (item #116479). They are all gorgeous and I love that you can now get multiples of just one color -- all of our wedding-themed supplies have gone this route -- such as rub-ons with multiples of one design so you can mass produce the same design.
I was just quickly showcasing the new papers with these so no fancy embellishments. The "Thanks" image on the white box is made with the new Stampin' Up Embosslit Thanks (item #115957). It cuts and embosses in one easy step. That's layered over a pretty tag from the Sizzlet set called Lots of Tags (item #114508).
I get asked about Wedding favor ideas more than almost any other 3-D item -- and these boxes -- and the pretty new papers -- would make mass producing these a snap! I think I have a new candidate for the favor for my daughter's wedding in about 20 years!
