Wow - have I been busy! The Christmas season has been wonderful, but there's always so much fun to stuff into the time available -- including the fun of sending out thank you notes. This is something I think is very important to do -- especially for my kids so they practice showing their gratitude. I made some quick and easy thank you notes this year. They started as a 6 inch square of real red textured card stock folded in half to make a 3 inch by 6 inch note that fits inside Stampin' Up's wonderful Open end envelopes (which are "mailable"!) Sorry for the weird shadow -- I had clear photos without that, but unfortunately I "Photoshopped" them into a strange shape -- so have to use the image that was to be trashed! Strips of Ski Slope Designer Series paper (available until Jan. 18 in the Holiday mini catalog) and an image stamped and punched out using the Curly Label stamps and punch set. The accent is a small felt snowflake (also still available in that mini catalog for a couple more weeks). A brad from the Vintage collection holds the snowflake in place and then it's attached to the card with Dimensionals for some pop. Simple, quick and in the mail in a hurry.
Happy New Year! I'm attending SU's Leadership training event this week and will get a Sneak Peek at the Spring/Summer catalog that goes into effect at noon on January 19. Always exciting to see what's new -- but don't forget to check out retiring stamps from the Fall/Winter catalog and order your favorites by Jan. 18. They are easy to view in a special retiring section of the SHOP NOW link.
