I got the idea for this card from my demonstrator friend Lisa Freeman when she shared it here on her blog as part of her Stamp-a-Stack card ideas. I thought it was such a pretty use of the stamp set To You and Yours. I just made a couple of adjustments -- mainly tucking the focal point under the ribbon. What I love about this card is that it's economical to make because you're layering just a 2" by 4" piece of the Ski Slope Designer Paper from Stampin' Up on the bottom of the card front. Then I wrapped the stitched Chocolate Chip ribbon around the bottom edge of a 3& 1/4" by 4" piece of Baja Breeze card stock and taped the ribbon to the back. You can use a piece of ribbon that's just a little over 5" long that way!
The image is stamped on a 2" by 3" piece of Whisper White Card stock with chocolate ink and then use a Sponge Dauber to apply some Baja Breeze ink around the house to make a wintery sky. Next I used a 2-Way Glue pen to add some Dazzling Diamonds Glitter (that's snow in Florida! Maybe a little hard to see here but very sprakly in person.) I love the 4 word choices in the stamp set and any of them would be perfect stamped right onto the Designer Paper or inside the card. And it passes my "flat enough to mail easily" test!
