Manly Marker Magic

Manly15 Here are two manly cards today from the masculine card swap I took part in recently. I loved getting these because they are an all-occasion card and Birthday card. Both of these use a combination of two marker colors on the focal point image to make those images "pop." On the card with the small bird, chocolate chip and artichoke markers are used on the bird image -- and there is a surprise -- that image is a tiny card on the  front of the larger card where you could write a secret note. It's held closed using a little notch made with the SU slit punch.

Manly7 On the card that uses an image from the set Lovely as a Tree, Artichoke and Bravo Burgundy are the two colors of Stampin' Up markers that blend to make a very handsome tree. The greeting on that card is from Sincere Salutations, with the corners dressed up using the Ticket Corner punch from SU.

I'm still determined to get the photo tutorial ready tomorrow for the cutest manly card yet. My cold is getting better so check back Saturday and I hope to have one last Father's Day idea for those of you who are waiting to the last minute on those cards.
